Shot on film on Sicily, the video follows Cardin and Leo, two figures drawn back towards one another as a wave builds through the narrative, shifting between threat and release. Sixteen dancers surround the central pair, with costumes by Superyaya and St. Agni adding to the film’s raw, slightly surreal visual language.
The film closes with a hand-drawn manga sequence, continuing a narrative thread established in Cardin’s previous video The Way We Touch and pointing towards the next chapter in the album’s video world.
René-Lortie, who was Oscar-nominated in 2024 for his short film Invincible, see below, brings a restrained, character-led approach to what is Cardin’s most ambitious music video to date.
