Born in Paris in 1987, Vladimir de Fontenay is a writer, director and graduate of the NYU Tisch School of Arts. He is a recipient of the Spike Lee Production Fund and his short films have won awards and been selected in numerous festivals. In 2017, two years after his first short film starring James Franco « Memoria », he directed the feature film : « Mobile Homes ». It is an adaptation of his short film bearing the same name, which he made during his film studies in New York. Selected in many festivals including Clermont-Ferrand and SXSW, Mobile Homes was praised by the press.Vladimir de Fontenay also has a great career of commercial work to his credit. In 2019, on the occasion of the Women's World Cup, he directed a film for the French Football Federation, "Birth of a Passion" to highlight the career of the French Team players. He directed it partly with images taken from the personal archives of some players, telling the different periods of a high level soccer player's career. In 2021, he was in charge of the realization of the FDJ « Making France win » campaign. Using scenes from life to celebrate the small and big victories of French people. This year, he continues his collaboration with the FDJ Olympic Games campaign of 2024, honoring the capital and the union that sport creates in France, as well as the GMF collective campaign, and more recently the heartwarming Gustave Roussy campaign for cancer research, where we discover the history and the strength of Santa Claus.
