Odelay Films

Tom Geens, a director from Belgium with a background in politics/economics and theatre studies, moved to London in 1993. His career in advertising began in 1996, and he transitioned into directing, choosing film over an offer from LAMDA. Starting in 1999, he directed short films and commercials, developing a repertoire of work that includes the feature film "MENTEUR" (LIAR) for ARTE, which premiered at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival in 2009, and "COUPLE IN A HOLE," funded by the BFI and MEDIA, which won awards at the Toronto Film Festival and the Scottish BAFTA. His latest project is a poignant film for a climate group that serves as a stark warning of the consequences of inaction in the face of climate change, underscoring the urgency of attending protests and engaging in activism.
