“Personally to me it’s a film about a girl that always is willing to put others first and trying to please her family and friends until she starts to lose herself in everyones world, sometimes she just wants to disappear in her own peaceful world.” - Rukia Mahamed, Actor and Director “It’s a young woman's journey of growth within the generational and cultural framework. Finally seeing Fardosa's character floating to a dream like state.” - Iqlaas Osman, Actor and Director “Collaborating with Rukia and Iqlaas was alot based on improvisation, that allowed them to tell their own story, with their own style. The film is an end result of our collective values, moods, and taste that we all share.” - Anton Tammi, Director

Anton Tammi is a film director best known for his cult, dreamlike music videos. The world he creates is ripe with colour, flickering lights, streaming rain and heady landscapes. Anton’s early music videos ‘All Your Words’ for JIL and ‘Pick & Roll’ by Bruce Smear were both snapped up by Vimeo Staff Picks. He followed these with ‘Hard Rain’ by Lykke Li and the commercial ‘Closer To The Journey’ for Rimowa x Bang & Olufsen. In 2019, Anton directed the Euphoria inspired ‘Graveyard’ for Halsey, and began a fruitful, ongoing collaboration with The Weeknd. Together, they steered the creative direction of the Top 10 album ‘After Hours’. Anton shot the album artwork for ‘After Hours’ and directed a series of music videos for ‘Heartless’, ‘Blinding Lights’ and ‘In Your Eyes’, plus a short film. ‘Blinding Lights’ went on to win Best RnB and Video of the Year at the 2020 MTV Awards, as well as ‘Best Pop Video’ at the UK Music Video Awards, where Anton won Director of the Year. Recently Anton directed ‘Outta My Head’, for Yung Lean and Fardosa, a collaborative, independent film project with Rukia Mahamed and Iqlaas Osman. Anton is originally from Helsinki, Finland.
