Kim Gehrig is a multi-award winning director with a reputation for distinctly human and technically inventive work. Directing internationally for over 14 years, she has demonstrated a remarkable ability to shape and change culture with her campaigns. Her irreverent commercial for Libresse, ‘Viva La Vulva’, won 13 Cannes Lions, and was praised internationally for its unfettered depiction of female bodies. Her celebrated campaign for Sport England, ‘This Girl Can’ inspired over 2 million women to take up a new sport. Her dance classic, ‘Like Sugar’ by Chaka Khan, was recently included in Promonews’ Best Music Videos of the Decade. She was awarded UK Director of the Year in 2019, and she recently collaborated with choreographer Ryan Heffington on the launch film for Apple Airpods Pro. As a leading commercials and music video director, Kim is a pioneering female voice. She is now taking that voice into film and television. She is currently in development on a film project with Bruna Papandrea at 'Made Up Stories’ and Nicole Kidman at ‘Blossom'. Most recently, Kim directed the spellbinding spot ' Life Needs Truth' for The New York Times.
