This music video was created as part of the prestigious 'Youth Music Video Competition' (YMVC), in collaboration with the esteemed 'First Cut Film Festival.' Ten emerging filmmakers from across Ireland were carefully chosen and paired with an established Irish Artist to produce a music video, working within a €1,000 budget. Set to the haunting track "Inhaling" from Ailbhe Reddy's sophomore album, 'Endless Affair,' the video unfolds a compelling narrative. The protagonist and his wife's intimate dinner takes an unexpected turn when her fortune cookie seemingly curses her, leading to an abduction by aliens. Consumed by grief and driven by anger, the protagonist embarks on a mission to avenge his wife, choosing an unconventional path by disrupting the lives of other couples.

Colin peppard is a director based in Dublin. Most recent directorial work includes a music video for Ailbhe Reddy’s ‘inhaling’. Colin was selected as one of the top up-and-coming filmmakers in Ireland for the 'First Cut Film Festival's Youth Music Video Competition’. His short films have earned recognition in esteemed festivals like 'The Richard Harris Film Festival,' 'Indie Cork Film Festival,' 'Louth International Film Festival,' and 'Still Voices.' Colin is in pre-production for his upcoming body horror short film 'Muscle Bound,' co-written with Jamie Delaney and produced by Carbonated Comet. This project is scheduled for filming in April 2024.
