Brothers Michael and Paraic Morrissey direct short films and music videos as CC Wade. With a distinct, cinematic vision and an eye for surrealism, they are known for their ambitious and imaginative filmmaking. CC Wade began their careers directing music videos for local artists in South London, including ‘Rock Bottom’ for King Krule, 'Voodoo Saloon' for Jerkcurb and 'The Man' for Goat Girl. Their haunting video 'Biscuit Town' for King Krule was nominated for Best Alternative Video at the UKMVAs in 2018, taking home an award for Best Production Design. In 2019, their operatic video for ‘Feet’ by Fat White Family won Best Music Video at Raindance. In 2019, they paid tribute to the 1960s Black Liberation movement with a powerful video for Michael Kiwanuka’s ‘Hero’. In 2020, CC Wade directed DIY videos for LL Burns ‘Get Me Back In The Game’ and ‘Comet Face’ for King Krule. The moniker ‘CC Wade’ was inspired by the Diane Arbus photograph ‘Identical Twins’.
