Slutet

Sofia Aedo Zahou is a Stockholm-based director and multidisciplinary artist whose work delves into themes of memory, identity, and the subtle spaces between spoken and unspoken narratives. Her award-winning short A Bath in My Mother’s Womb, co-directed with Mona Namér, has received recognition in cultural publications and been exhibited internationally at notable spaces including Fotografiska Stockholm, acclaimed for its intimate visual language and evocative storytelling. Her follow-up film Unsaid (Osagt) premiered on NOWNESS and was featured in Botkyrka Konsthall’s “Stand Where You Feel” exhibition — a cinematic exploration of presence and absence. Now signed to Slutet är Nära, Sofia brings this narrative sensibility to her commercial work, primarily within the fashion sector.
