Peter Grasse is an award-winning producer who has helped shape some of the Asia-Pacific region’s most dynamic production companies across New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, and Japan. Over the past decade, he has produced many of the world’s most awarded commercial campaigns and continues to champion emerging talent as Founder of Mr+Positive in Tokyo and Singapore. His companies have been ranked among the Top Three Production Companies of the Decade by BestAds and the #1 Production Company in Asia by LBB.

Peter began his career at Curious Film Auckland in 2004, where, as General Manager, he expanded the company into Sydney. During this period, his teams won numerous international honours, including multiple Grands Prix, Gold Lions, and the Cannes Film Festival’s Semaine de la Critique Grand Prix for Stephen Kang’s Blue. Curious was also named Ciclope’s Asia-Pacific Production Company of the Year from 2013 to 2015.

In 2016, Peter relocated to Japan, where his work has since won a BAFTA, a Grand Effie, and a Gold Webby. He has chaired and served on juries for leading global awards including Cannes Lions, Ciclope, Spikes, Adfest, Axis, Shots, and The Immortals. Under his leadership, Mr+Positive was ranked the #1 Production Company in Japan in 2024 and has contributed to films premiering at the Sundance and Slamdance Film Festivals in 2025.
