With fifteen years’ experience of creating visually rich and innovative spots, New Zealand Director Melanie Bridge has made a name for herself by consistently delivering cutting edge work that blends the fantastical with the real.
Named one of the ‘Top 100 Directors in the World’ by Shots Magazine, Melanie’s background as a leading commercial photographer combined with her extraordinary eye for fashion, art direction and design has resulted in an array of international awards ranging from Clios to D&AD Awards.
Her debut spot for Xenical, entitled ‘I’d Like’, first brought Melanie international attention for its ground breaking style which blended hand crafted animation techniques with state-of-the-art post effects. Since then, her work has continued to push visual boundaries and carefully cultivated performance to create memorable pieces. Melanie’s recent work has been for clients, including Dove, Dulux, Kraft, Nike, Coca-Cola and Huggies.
Melanie is one of the Founding Partners of global boutique production company, The Sweet Shop.
