Mattia Fiumani is a director and producer with a background spanning architecture and film. After spending nearly two decades working across Australia, Egypt, Fiji, Switzerland, and the United States, he founded Local Bizzarro, an independent production company based in Italy’s Conero Natural Park, focused on auteur cinema and culturally driven, place-based projects.

He is also the founder of Conero Film + ADV, an international platform conceived as a space for dialogue between creative practice and industry, with a focus on emerging sustainable production models and the evolving role of audiovisual language in relation to specific cultural frameworks.

His work approaches film as an ecosystem in which artistic research, production processes, and territorial knowledge intersect, strengthening the relationship between creative ideas and local contexts, while reducing environmental impact, optimising resources, and fostering deeper forms of collaboration within the audiovisual sector.
