Leah Churchill-Brown
Executive Producer
Exit Films
Leah Churchill-Brown is one of Australia’s most admired EP’s, having nurtured the careers of many leading directors. At EXIT she has continued its tradition of mentoring talent, pairing young artists with names on the EXIT roster such as Garth Davis, Glendyn Ivin, Mark Molloy and Stefan Hunt.
Leah’s ability to nurture talent began when she set up prod company, Doll. It developed local directors and serviced the international markets. In 2006, she produced Suburban Mayhem, which premiered at Cannes in Un Certain Regard.
At Exit she has been involved with many successful campaigns, notably This Is Footy Country for Telstra, that scored Gold at Spikes and Ciclope. Recently Leah has been the producing force behind Bonds Made for Down Under and Tourism Australia’s global Come Say G’Day
Leah has received recognition from international and local award programs throughout her career. In addition, she has been invited to serve on esteemed judging panels for both mainstream and short form content shows, particularly over the past two years as her work as an executive producer has consistently demonstrated exceptional standards.
She brings to judging panels a depth of experience from a career spanning twenty-five years; an understanding of craft and storytelling that few can match as the force behind one of Australia’s foremost production houses.
Leah has served on several juries, including the 2025 Cannes Lions Shortlisting Jury, Ciclope Asia Pacific Jury, 1.4 Awards of Brilliant Filmmaking, and UK Music Video Awards.
