Colin Journee is a VFX Creative Director and partner at Monumental, a Paris-based post-production studio. With over a decade of experience in visual effects, he began his career in feature films, supervising VFX for directors including Terry Gilliam, Dominik Moll, and Rebecca Zlotowski. His work has received multiple Best VFX awards, reflecting a focus on craft and a commitment to delivering images that feel impactful.

He later co-founded Square VFX with Mathieu Jussreandot, a studio created to support ambitious, high-end visual work. Square VFX subsequently integrated into Monumental, becoming its in-house VFX division. Since then, Colin has collaborated with a wide range of clients, artists, and directors across advertising and music videos, guiding projects from early creative development and contributing to award-winning work across formats.
