Anthony Dickenson is an award winning London based director, photographer and visual artist working across film, music videos, commercial projects and art installation. His practice often brings together photography, animation and print based processes, with a focus on time, repetition and human presence.

He emerged through music videos, collaborating with artists including The xx, Jon Hopkins, Mount Kimbie and Groove Armada, before moving into commercial filmmaking for brands such as Nike, Lexus, Sony and Virgin Media. He is also co founder of the production company All Mighty Pictures, where his work centres on environmental and humanitarian storytelling for organisations including WWF, Amnesty International, National Trust and World Animal Protection.

Alongside his directing work, Anthony has an established practice as a stills photographer for film. Recent projects include stills work on The Thing With Feathers, Urchin, and Danny Boyle’s upcoming feature Ink. In parallel, his art installation work has expanded into large scale, process led moving image pieces, including Soft Gradient Beckons for Rival Consoles, built from thousands of handmade prints and presented as both film and immersive installation.
