Sunrise, Behind The Passwords Yanik Zollinger
Somewhere between directing a sitcom and starting a meme page, Yanik operates like a walking meme encyclopedia – always armed with the perfect joke for the moment. His humor is dry, oddly specific, but somehow always on point. Yanik got his start creating music videos with his friends, racking up millions of views in the process.
His style combines surreal comedy with painfully relatable situations, turning awkward silences and small talk into cinematic gold. Whether it’s a concierge monologuing about cybersecurity or a motel receptionist contemplating her life choices, Yanik makes the mundane feel weirdly iconic.
"Behind the Passwords" is a mockumentary-style spin-off of Sunrise's main roaming campaign. We travelled the globe (aka the city of Lucerne in switzerland) chatting with receptionists to uncover the sacred secrets… of hotel WiFi.
