Director's Works
Nike Jordan, TOO EASY Vincent Catel
Vincent Catel is a Paris-based director, known for his ability to capture the poetry of reality. Initially working as an art director alongside filmmakers such as Jonas Lindstroem and The Blaze, Vincent developed a strong affinity for immersive and sensory worlds, where storytelling unfolds as much through rhythm and texture as through framing.
Vincent has carved out a space of his own in the filmmaking landscape. Drawing inspiration from filmmakers like Gus Van Sant and Harmony Korine, as well as street photography and fashion, Vincent’s films feel like a heightened version of reality, blending epic grandeur with moments of quiet introspection. His work touches on universal themes of identity, human connection, and the passage of time, resulting in pieces that are both emotionally resonant and visually striking.
His breakthrough came with his film for French artist Bamao Yendé, which earned him the UKMVA for Best Young Director and led to collaborations with Versace, quickly establishing him as a significant talent. Since then, he has continued to create notable work for brands like Isabel Marant, Hermès, Chloé and Nike, as well as talents like Lucy Boynton.
