Behaviour Interactive (BHVR), creators of the online asymmetric multiplayer horror survival game Dead by Daylight (DBD), partnered with us to create the launch trailer for the game’s latest chapter, Sinister Grace, and we couldn’t wait to deliver the gore.

Rooted in Thai folklore, the story follows Burong, a once-beloved opera singer whose hunger for fame transforms her into The Krasue - a floating head with a glowing heart and trailing entrails, forever hungry.

Using BHVR’s concept art and story as a foundation, we reimagined the designs in a stylised, illustrative aesthetic, creating a distinct visual identity tailored for cinematic storytelling. From early mood edits to storyboards to the final cut, we worked closely with the DBD marketing team to balance beauty with the raw brutality that defines this chapter, and the franchise.

The result? Horror, folklore, and gore, perfectly fused for a Killer debut you won’t forget.
