Dr Martens, Zebzag - The Art of Comfort Silence
Writing your own bio feels painfully unnatural. As Martin Parr said ‘I’m an English person. We don’t talk ourselves up. We have to be self-deprecating. I’m not going to confess to any skills whatsoever. That’s your job, if you want to. No pressure.’
Shooting 500fps really puts you up against it. Every micro movement can impact the shot - a simple blink was ruining takes. And to make things more challenging I wanted to capture chaos… lots of extras, moving props, small stunts… everything had to be so choreographed, but appear effortless. It was a delightful challenge <3
