Sahra Zadat is a director based in Los Angeles. Born in Germany to Iranian immigrant parents, she moved to London on her own at 18, where her style was shaped by growing up within the city’s creative scene.
Inspired by human beauty, Sahra’s work centers on authenticity, emotion, and presence. Her visual style places a strong emphasis on symmetry and composition, creating imagery that always puts the artist first. She is deeply committed to empowering women through her visuals, consistently foregrounding female narratives, perspectives, and strength. Coming up as a female director, she has continuously sought to challenge conventions and create space for women, both in front of and behind the camera.
Known for her attention to detail, Sahra also excels as a creative director, seamlessly bringing together multiple creative departments to craft cohesive visions while fostering a safe, comfortable, and collaborative environment for artists on set.

I moved to Los Angeles last year, and directing I Can Tell in the same year felt like a defining moment for me. I remember being in London, wondering if I would ever truly get the chance to do this, so finally being on set felt deeply full-circle.
For this video, I wanted the lyrics to speak directly through the visuals and create a sense of nostalgia. The train became a central metaphor: parting ways with someone you deeply love, knowing they’re right for you but unable to stay & trusting that when love is real, intuition guides you back to them.
