German Cancer Aid, Fight Pascal Momper
Pascal grew up in rural Marbach in Rhineland-Palatinate, where he founded his own advertising agency "potvis" together with his best friend in 2018 after graduating from school due to a mixture of boredom and an interest in advertising.
From this rather spontaneous idea, his interest in film quickly developed in the direction of advertising and so he began to realize his first smaller projects before he came to the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 2020, where he has been studying advertising film directing ever since.
Since then, he has been studying, continuing to work at his agency and realizing projects as a freelancer.
He is currently developing a series and working on a documentary.
Director’s Note
After losing my mother to lung cancer in 2018, I felt a strong need to transform personal grief into something meaningful. “FIGHT” does not focus on prevention, but on the emotional reality that begins the moment a diagnosis is made — fear, guilt, and the weight carried by patients and their families. The film aims to give a voice to those affected and to remind them that no one has to face this fight alone.
