Olly Fawcett is a commercial director working across branded film, music videos, and short-form narrative. His work is rooted in documentary practice with a focus on realism, character, and story-led visuals. Shaped by years of location-based filmmaking across surf, snow, and skate culture; he brings an observational and field-tested sensibility to commercial work, prioritising natural performances, a strong sense of place, and emotionally coherent storytelling. His films favour authenticity over artifice, aiming to feel grounded, credible, and human.
These are the scripts that give us life and blur the line between art and advertising; this film floated up off the the page and crawling down through the microscope to build the world, shoot it on 35mm and collaborate with these dancers and artists was uniquely inspiring.
