Director's Works
Noah Bonevie is a Director, Photographer, and DJ. His work emerges from a subtle interplay of heritage, rhythm, and visual sensibility. He crafts
a visual language that oscillates between stillness and motion, leaving room for emotion and atmosphere. Through this synergy, he develops an aesthetic that rearranges familiar motifs, imbuing them with a unique narrative depth.
A studio-built film using real elements from the Mur River in Graz. Driftwood collected along the riverbanks was suspended from the studio trusses with fishing lines, forming an abstract landscape. Stones from Peter Verhounik's garden were used for the closups.
The opening push-in was created with a motion controlled slider, while the talent stood on a motorized rotating plate. The Slider was professionally height adjusted wile standing on two chairs. Shot on Contax Carl Zeiss MMJ lenses, mostly at f/4 with select shots at f/1.4. We were using split diopters for several setups. The final edit was made by Noah Bonevie and the grading by the DoP Peter Verhounik.
