Nicolas Bori is Berlin-based director and a recent graduate of the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg (April 2024).
With an academic background in business prior to film school, his work focuses on emotionally driven storytelling for commercials and branded content, often combining sincerity with subtle humor. As an emerging director, he is currently developing his voice through student films, early commercial projects and music videos. His student and early professional work has been shortlisted, screened, and awarded at international advertising and film festivals, including Young Director Award, Clio Students, Berlin Commercial, ADC Talents, Shots, Ciclope Students and other emerging-talent competitions.
From landscaping a stone quarry to build the Moon set, to surviving a real sand storm in the Sahara to get the shot. 95% of this project was shot in camera, with VFX or AI doing a minimal amount when no other solution was viable practically.
