Nicholas Kleczewski is as diverse a Director as there is. Coming up through the industry as an editor for extreme sports and feature music documentaries he's always used his background as a musician and editor to inform how he directs. Whether it's a promo for a pop star, an emotional brand film for a car company, or a slamdance winning music documentary Nicholas puts everything he has into every project to make something beautiful and original.

This was my first opportunity to do anything in stop motion animation so there was a huge learning curve and only about a month to learn it. I pitched stop motion because I wanted to create something magical and nostalgic during the holiday for Audi and I also wanted it to feel grand in scale in a way no commercial budget shooting practical could allow for. There's so much packed into this little spot that can bring a smile to anyone but also has deep easter eggs for the true car fan which I love to play with that duality in my commercial work. I'm also proud that absolutely everything in it, down to the cotton clouds in the sky, every element is real, made by human hands from an amazing team, no AI here folks.
