Milani Someleze Mambane is a South African writer, director based in South London. He has always gravitated towards
vulnerable character stories.

Since first falling in love with film over five years ago, he has honed his directing skills in the music video and commercial
genres. His ability to create within the constraints of a low budget whilst still producing high quality work has meant that in the last two years he has been able to work in house at major production companies, “Biscuit Filmworks” (Campaign Magazine UK’s Production Company Of The Year Winner 2024) & “Stink Films” (Eyecandyy’s Top Production Companies of 2024)

"Sofah" is a smooth, heartfelt R&B duet that dives deep into the emotional rollercoaster of love taken for granted. Told through two parallel narratives, the video follows the journey of two men, each caught in the same painful realisation: their relationships are on the verge of falling apart.

The women in their lives are emotionally checked out, quietly pulling away after feeling unseen and unappreciated.

As the track progresses, the reality hits. Through arguments, silence, and the sting of being ignored, both men come to terms with their own complacency. The lyrics serve as confessions—raw, honest, and full of longing—as they reflect on what they’re losing.

Determined not to let go, the pair begin to shift. We see split-screen visuals of both men making small but meaningful changes—showing up, apologising, listening. Moments once taken for granted are now cherished: handwritten notes, quiet embraces, genuine effort.

By the end, the tension softens. Though not everything is perfect, the love is real—and both couples begin to rebuild what they almost lost. "Sofah" is a powerful ode to vulnerability, accountability, and fighting for love before it’s too late.
