Director's Works
Jordan and Maxwell are childhood friends that set off together to achieve their dreams in their late teens. Both filmmakers are proactive, resourceful, and always find a way to make the projects they are passionate about - no matter what resources they have available. They find a way, as they would say. They are very much outsiders of the industry as both Jordan and Maxwell shared in common that their father's taught English at separate local high schools in their small town in Northern California.
When asked whose career they wish they could resemble, they always quickly respond, "Spike Jonze."
Their work has been featured in Berlin Fashion Film Festival, Berlin Commercial, Directors Notes, and Austin Film Festival among many others and are both currently unsigned talent. They would like to change that in 2026.
This video was in collaboration with the photoshoot conducted by Kaio Cesar. It is a mix of BTS and performance where we wanted to implement the feeling of Alfred Hitchcock, David Lynch, and early Hollywood glamour. Our shoot day was about six hours in total with a singular location. Jordan, Andrés, and Maxwell all manned their own cameras and worked around Kaio and his team. We used a RED Raptor XL, a Nikon ZR, and a small handheld Sony Digicam. In the edit, we wanted to capture a soundscape that alludes to early Hollywood mixed with a level of mystery and intrigue fit for our modern-day Scream Queen. All the sounds used in the edit are analog sounds that come from vintage cameras and their flashes.
