Markus Miarka (Director & DoP) was born in Germany to Polish parents and is now based in Spain. Living between cultures shaped his voice: observant, warm, and drawn to charmingly offbeat humor as a way to connect. He directs playful commercials built around strong performances and carefully crafted visual worlds, where personality comes through in the smallest gestures. As a counterpoint, his personal projects are intimate, highlighting the beauty of people’s presence and talent, and letting them speak for themselves.
Matias Vasquez, born in Norway to Chilean refugees, chases sun and freedom on his BMX through the streets of Málaga — a world far from the gray quiet of Norway that never felt like it had much to offer. For Matias, true wealth is simple: the hum of tires, the wind in his face, and the courage to ride without thinking of tomorrow. Stoked Between Handlebars is a love letter to living wide open — to finding happiness not in what you own, but in what sets your heart in motion.
