Director's Works
Louis McCourt is a self-taught writer and director from Stockport. Since 2019, he has worked as a second unit director and development assistant to acclaimed filmmaker Daniel Wolfe, contributing to both commercial and film projects.
McCourt was a key creative force behind two of Channel 4’s celebrated idents in 2023, which earned top honors at D&AD, Cannes Lions, Clios, and numerous other prestigious awards. His collaboration with EE has also been widely recognized: co-directing several campaigns, including a solo-directed spot that helped secure Campaign of the Year at the British Arrows in both 2024 and 2025, along with multiple international awards for direction and creativity.
In 2025, Louis directed Ocado’s first campaign under Uncommon London following their account win, O2’s Christmas campaign for the UK and helmed all second unit direction on Wolfe’s ambitious 100 Years of Corona commercial, which was produced with W&K Amsterdam and premiered in May.
Beyond advertising, Louis wrote and directed NO FACES (2024), a narrative short starring Samuel Bottomley and Frankie Box. The film has begun its festival circuit, marking McCourt as an emerging talent in long-form storytelling.
