KaDeWe, Eine KaDeWe Werbung Langston Uibel
Langston Uibel (he/him) born in 1998 in London, is a British-German actor. He became known for his roles in several Netflix productions, including DOGS OF BERLIN, HOW TO SELL DRUGS ONLINE (FAST), and the Emmy-nominated miniseries UNORTHODOX. In 2023, he starred in Christian Petzold’s AFIRE, which premiered in competition at the 73rd Berlinale and was awarded the Silver Bear – Grand Jury Prize. In 2026, Uibel joins the second season of HIJACK as a new series regular alongside Idris Elba. The season premieres worldwide on Apple TV on January 14, 2026. The launch will include two episodes, followed by weekly releases of the remaining six episodes.
In late summer 2025, the versatile German British artist also created a cinema commercial for Berlin’s KaDeWe, serving both in front of and behind the camera as executive producer.

“I long for advertising that reminds me of my childhood in Streatham Hill, London, sitting in the living room with my brothers. Back then, commercial breaks were not interruptions but highlights: concise, intelligent, entertaining. With a KaDeWe commercial, I tried to pick up exactly there. It does not have to change the world, but it has to make sense.”
