Hengyou Jen is a Taiwan-born director and photographer working across music videos, fashion films, and short-form narrative. His work often explores space, sound, and presence, with experience that is rooted in documentary and stylized visual language.
His projects have been featured on platforms such as Director’s Library and include collaborations with independent designers and artists, moving between commercial and personal work.

Featuring the last artisanal collection of ZHEXUAN HU, this film explores the quiet comparisons we make within relationships and the unseen forces that hold us together. The angel is a manifestation of light; she moves through a space she inhabits alone, crossing paths with two brothers who each represent a past and a future.
This is a toast to our experience of solitude and of compassion, our experience of the space that exists between each passing relationship.
I hope you can find the sense of belonging that we try to convey in the film, and take away it with you when you leave.
