Rimon, Where Do We Go Gabriel Dugué
Ocurens

Gabriel Dugué is a director based in Montpellier. After training as a filmmaker, he founded the rap group Set&Match. He established himself as a rapper, the group’s manager, and the director of most of its music videos. After six years of activity and nearly 300 concerts, the group disbanded. By combining his passion for music and cinema with a taste for new adventures, Gabriel returned to his first love: directing.
He has directed a series of music videos for Deen Burbigo, Gros Mo, Némir, Alpha Wann, Sopico, and Audrey Nuna, as well as commercial spots for SKYN, REEBOK, UBER, ADIDAS, and SALOMON. His music video for the artist PONE received a Vimeo Staff Pick and the “New Talent” award from the Club des DA.
Alongside Hugo Kerr, he began developing an independent mini-series. Through short portrait films, he highlights unconventional profiles, with a tone that blends music video aesthetics and documentary; a project rooted in people and his region. The first episode won a Young Director Award in Cannes as well as a Gold Award at the Berlin advertising festival. The second received a Vimeo Staff Pick and a Gold Award at the One Screen Festival 2020. Also passionate about analog photography and graphic design, he often complements his films with a series of still photographs and graphic design and illustration work.
