Director's Works
Rivian, Finding Fall Elizabeth Weinberg
Elizabeth Weinberg is a director and photographer based in Los Angeles. Unbounded by traditional constraints of genre, she spans the worlds of portraits, advertising, travel, and reportage across motion and stills, working in a relaxed, no-frills manner that brings out the shared humanity in all of her subjects. Her unique ability to fuse a loose approach with measured precision for the moment has made her a sought-after creative partner for respected clients across the editorial and commercial spaces.
Elizabeth was selected as an Art Directors Club Young Gun and one of PDN's 30 Photographers to Watch, and has received awards and recognition from American Photography, Communication Arts, the Berlin Commercial Festival, and One Point Four. Her work has been shown at the Lentos Art Museum and Brooklyn Museum and screened at the Fashion Film Festival Amsterdam. Over the past two decades, she has amassed an extensive portfolio featuring some of the most respected names in entertainment, art, and music. Her films explore themes of metaphysics, motherhood, and the intersection of our lives with modern technology. Her commercial work spans youth culture, travel, the outdoors, tech, and beyond.
I grew up in Massachusetts, where autumn is a spectacle of color and crisp. Living now in Los Angeles, I realize that in order for us to experience fall, we have to seek it. Amidst the chaos of today’s world, we have an even more urgent responsibility to instill a love of nature in our kids. I not only wrote and directed this piece, but I starred in it alongside my son, Oscar.
