Director's Works
Diana Olifirova is a visual artist and cinematographer, originally from Ukraine and now based in London, working worldwide.
Her practice explores presence through experimentation, movement and self-portraiture.
Working fluidly between still and moving image, she develops a bold, intuitive visual language driven by curiosity and a desire to reveal the inner landscape.
Internationally recognised for her cinematography on Bridgerton S3, Heartstopper, We Are Lady Parts, Twiggy and more—and celebrated as a BAFTA Breakthrough talent—Diana has cultivated a distinct artistic voice beyond the screen. In 2025 she presented Stop. Time. Motion., an analogue exhibition featuring her long-exposure pinhole meditation series Twenty Minutes of Light, shown at Bomb Factory in Shoreditch. She has also exhibited with Drifter Galleries and Proposition Studios, and collaborated with Panasonic, Canon and Lomography.
Diana is the founder of Dark Room Socials, a 150-member analogue photography community hosting meetups, workshops and exhibitions. A graduate and visiting tutor at the National Film and Television School, she teaches internationally and contributes to global conversations on visual storytelling as a juror for BAFTA, RTS, D&AD, SXSW and more.
Her current work merges meditation, movement and light—an ongoing enquiry into stillness, belonging and the places the nomadic self inhabits.
I am leaving behind a year
Full of wanderlust
Within
Manifested into the film
I feel drawn to share
And be
