WEBSITE

Coro Benavent is a director and musician who tells human stories through a multidisciplinary lens. Trained as an actress at Corazza Madrid and Bristol Old Vic, she brings deep craft and sensitivity to working with performers. Her lifelong practice as a musician, with a vocal style known for its captivating softness, shapes her films with a deep sensitivity and attention to detail.

This year, Coro directed her first music video and is now pursuing her passion for directing music videos, short films, and eventually feature films. Coro believes the best work emerges from open-hearted collaboration, creative risk-taking, and a strong team at the core of every project. With this ethos, Coro recently co-founded Garo Studios, a film production company dedicated to auteur-driven filmmaking that aims to amplify new voices and bridge the art and technology gap.

Can a broken plate ever truly be fixed?

The music video for SUPERGLUE follows a couple across three moments: their last euphoric day together, their agreed separation, and their reunion one year later when a painful revelation shatters any hope of reconciliation.

As they struggle with heartbreak and longing, contemporary dancers embody their alter egos, expressing what words cannot. Through the shattering of a plate (literally and metaphorically), the film explores modern long-distance love and the tragedy of timing. A story of deep, broken love with nobody to blame.
