Coopers Conor Mercury
Conor Mercury is a director from Kaurna Land, Adelaide, South Australia. Having made 80+ music videos for local and internationally recognised artists including The Empty Threats, Kirin J Callinan, Twine and Mac The Knife; Conor’s work has played at SXSW Sydney, Flickerfest, SBS and MTV.
In 2023 he was awarded ‘Best Music Video’ at the SA Music awards, and in 2024 he was nominated for best music video at SXSW Sydney. In 2024 his work with the Empty Threats was exhibited in Times Square, New York.
Mercury’s style never sits still. It’s inventive, unexpected and captivating. His work is cheeky and the narratives he weaves catch you off guard, drawing you in until he has hold of you for the duration. Most importantly, he has a beautiful big heart and a charmingly disarming personality.
