Director's Works
Clément Lefer is a French director and cinematographer whose work moves between documentary and commercial storytelling, blending raw physicality with a poetic sense of place. From Switzerland’s icy peaks to Tokyo’s silence, his films seek emotional truth through natural light and organic camera movement. He divides his time between France and Japan.
A quiet film about loss, memory, and the invisible threads between people. Shot on a remote island in the Seto Inland Sea, The Missing Post Office follows real letters with no recipients, preserved by a retired postmaster who reads them like offerings. This short was born from a need to slow down, to listen, and to let silence speak.
