WEBSITE

Andrew De Zen is a Canadian writer and director based in Paris. His work is defined by a sensorial approach to filmmaking, blending poetic imagery with a deep sensitivity to human nuance. With a passion for uncovering stories in unexpected places, Andrew’s films resonate across cultures and borders. When he's not crafting visual narratives, he’s likely scaling a climbing wall, fuelled, of course, by the endless onslaught of baguettes and cheese.

In their fifth collaboration, director and writer Andrew de Zen and Canadian artist Alaskan Tapes bring to life a dystopian reality in the new film “Holocene.” The film’s theme is provocative and timely: A young couple must decide if they want to have a child brought into an increasingly broken world.
