Co-directed by Arnaud Deroudilhe and A$AP Rocky, and produced by Paris-based FRENZY, SWAT TEAM unfolds as a tense confrontation between the rapper and a heavily armed tactical unit. Shot with a grainy, surveillance-like immediacy, the film moves through darkness, torchlight and flashes of action as the hunted becomes the hunter. Arnaud, who also shares an editing credit, gives the escalating pursuit a restless, unpredictable rhythm.
