For their second collaboration, director Isaac Brown takes Australian singer and rapper Genesis Owusu back to his home country of Ghana, filming on the streets and coastline of Accra. The result, Stampede, places Owusu at the centre of a fast-moving world, with riders on motorcycles and horseback circling him in sync with the track’s escalating energy. It's vivid and immersive - blending raw, on-location texture with deliberate staging, the video shifts between grounded realism and heightened imagery.
“Stampede is about humanity and community, not just in Australia, where I live, but globally,” says Owusu. “It felt nourishing to return to my home country for the first time in 11 years and showcase some of the culture there — the youth and the deep subcultures that exist far beyond the perceptions many people may have of Africa.”
