PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson have finally released the video for fan-favourite track “Stateside,” directed by Charlotte Rutherford and produced by Chris Murdoch for CASINO. It opens on a mannequin version of PinkPantheress, frozen in a Fancy That–themed shop window, before she clicks into motion and the set begins to tremble. Next door, Zara Larsson is revealed as the disruption, and the two collide, sending the neat storefront fantasy out into the street. Charlotte, who’s helped shape the visual language of both artists across releases including PinkPantheress’ “Tonight” and Zara’s “Midnight Sun,” frames the meeting as an aesthetic swap: two distinct worlds rubbing up against each other until the edges blur. The result is glossy, controlled, and already being picked apart frame by frame online.
