Boy Inside By Luke White

Director's Works

Luke White, the award-winning UK director known for bending the rules of filmmaking, returns with a hauntingly beautiful collaboration with the Jacob Jonas Company. Since his early days as one half of experimental directing duo Tell No One (with Remi Weeks), White has fused technical mastery with dreamlike invention, whether working in-camera or in post. His films – from acclaimed Nowness commissions to major brand campaigns – pulse with a kind of cinematic poetry that feels both intimate and otherworldly. In Boy Inside, that vision meets the insect-inspired choreography of Jacob Jonas in a fever dream of movement and memory. White describes the work as “coming out of conversations Jacob and I had about childhood and how chaotic moments can hide in the body for years.” The result is a visceral dance between human fragility and something stranger – a hum of the past that refuses to fade. The body remembers, even when the mind forgets.
