On The Cusp, Longlist - Short Film - Non Fiction

The Service

Nathan Fitch

Independent

The Service was made during the hight of the COVID-19 pandemic in New York City. It was a very stressful time, and I was trying to use creative projects as a way of dealing with the stress I was feeling. I was really interested in the connections between the trauma of that moment and war, and the perspective of a veteran weed delivery man seemed like a great perspective to approach that from. The film was very collaborative.
