I was born in….
Wimbledon, South-West London

I now live in…
Upper Norwood, South-East London

But if I could live anywhere, it would be…
in a Summertime mountainscape

Right now, I’m binge-watching…
just finished The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix - stunning across all levels. I have my first chess lesson booked in!

The last track I listened to was…
BBC 6 Music is on all day, just played Pixies Hear Me Out

I dream about…
being better at interior design 🤣

The app I couldn’t survive without is…
pre COVID it was Citymapper, now it’s Strava

Social media is…
a double edged sword

When we can travel again, I’ll be heading to…
Italy by train embracing slow travel

The most important lesson I’ve learned in 2020…
don’t take it all too seriously (life, not the COVID stuff - obvs that is serious!)

The best/worst thing about lockdown was…
best was the stillness & time together as a family with no demands on us.
Worst was not being to physically connect with people

What the film industry needs is…
A non-negotiable Green policy, diversity & inclusion & many more easily accessible mentor schemes

What I wish I’d known when I was starting my career…
you owe yourself the best role models, don’t be afraid to seek them out

The best advice I’ve ever been given…
assume nothing

The film I wish I’d made…
not a film but the Netflix limited series Mrs America - all those amazing women to work alongside

My biggest inspiration is…
my children - they remind me of the importance of play and inspire me to be a better person

The person I would canonise is…
probably my Mum. She has selflessly always put others before herself and I think she’d appreciate the recognition!

If I wasn’t ... I’d be…
an anthropologist

My last meal would be…
a homemade vegetable biryani with dollops of coconut yogurt. Followed by the Baileys trifle I made last Xmas - immense

My life philosophy in three words…
bring the light
