Fernando Nogari, known as Nogari, is a Brazilian video and film director. Born in 1986, he started working with design, film, photography and video installations. In 2016, he graduated with an MFA from the Film Factory, the young filmmakers' lab at the Sarajevo Film Academy, where he studied under the mentorship of renowned Hungarian filmmaker Béla Tarr. He later co-founded Banzai Studio in São Paulo, Brazil, and joined Iconoclast in December 2018. His videos have been screened and awarded in festivals around the world, and in magazines such as Dazed and Vice. Nogari is a talented director who oscillates between advertising and auteur work. Thanks to his strong identity and singular aesthetic sense, he has confirmed his talent and reputation all over the world. He has shot commercials for brands such as Budweiser, Apple iPhone or Havaianas. His music videos include "Liquid Slow" for independent musicians Charlotte de Witte and Chris Liebing, which was a finalist in the 2019 Ciclope competition and has been shortlisted for the UK Music Video Awards 2020. In 2021, Nogari directed "Baila Conmigo" with Selena Gomez and “King of Modern Reggaetón” Rauw Alejandro. He won the award for Best International Music Video at the Music Video Festival, Brazil, and was shortlisted for Best International Pop Video at the UK Music Video Awards 2021. His remarkable "Your Future" commercial, shot in black and white in Salvador, Bahia, for Brazilian digital bank Nubank, was acclaimed for its endearing and humorous exploration of contemporary culture. One reviewer noted that it "strikes the right balance between a strong artistic vision and an overarching brand message.” It was awarded One Show 2022 Bronze, El Ojo 2022 Bronze and Clube de Criacao 2022 Gold for Cinematography and Writing, Silver for Best Direction. It was shortlisted for D&AD Awards 2022 Best Art Direction and Best Film. 
Recently, Nogari shot “México Manda” for Corona beer’s 2022 World Cup multichannel campaign and “Borderline” for Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo. The single about an abandoned robot lover ready for revenge was short-listed for Best Music Video at Ciclope 2023. Regarding advertisement, he also created a punchy and funny ad for Deezer, showcasing the beauty of dancing.
