Hermès, Big Paris Moment

Matthew Frost began his career directing short films, before moving on to creating music videos for bands such as M83 and co- writing the script for the film Wassup Rockers with Larry Clark. From there, Frost moved on to directing commercials and fashion films, working with brands such as Vogue, Christian Cowan, Levis, Louis Vuitton, Kitsune, Nike, Paul and Joe Nissan and Apple among others. Frost’s short films for Vogue featuring Cate Blanchett, Jessica Chastain and Kate Winslet proved his forte to write and direct content. He continues working for Vogue and made a video starring Olivia Wilde in 2021. His talent for fashion ad led him to work with Givenchy for their witty Live Irresistible campaign with the iconic Amanda Seyfried. In 2022, he collaborated with Hermès on Big Paris Moment, a fashion short film showcasing a model’s thoughts and feelings during his first big fitting in Paris.This film lead him to win the fashion film award at the Barcelona film festival. His taste for storytelling can be sensed as well in his last campaign for Nike, Effort Made Effortless. Matthew collaborated with Christian Cowan to unveil the Fall/Winter 2021 collection benefitting The Loveland Foundation. Written and directed by Frost, “A Fashion Thing”stars comedians Bowan Yang and Chloe Fineman amongst a number of models including Paris Hilton. His short film for VS Magazine, “Aspirational” starring Kristen Dunst, garnered nearly 10 million views its first week online. Matthew’s successful commercial and promo career lead him to working in photography too and he has quickly become well recognized by the industry, represented by Iconoclast Image. He has worked with magazines such as Vice, Nylon, Le Monde, Teen Vogue and Jalouse, with a narrative and playful style.
