Kruger, Love Is Messy

Mark Zibert

Effortlessly original and technically abstract, specialising in narrative storytelling, Mark is a technically excellent filmmaker whose films are always visually arresting. He has been shooting commercially from the age of 23, when he won his first Nike campaign and since then Mark’s work has been constantly evolving and he’s equally comfortable shooting stills as directing moving image. Mark has directed all seven of the SickKids Foundation films since they launched their fundraising efforts in 2016. Each of these incredibly moving and beautifully crafted films has a powerful concept and are part of the biggest fundraising effort in Canadian Healthcare history that has resulted in the charity achieving their goal of the building of a new hospital. From his first major break for Nike to an Adidas campaign for the Beijing Olympics - which won China its first Cannes Gold and was named Photography Campaign of the Year at the prestigious Lucie Awards NY - his work is constantly evolving. Mark’s unique talent was recognized early when he won the New Directors Award at the Canadian Bessies in 2008, as well as a Cannes Bronze the same year. Mark has shot many of the world’s top athletes - and also Wayne Rooney. Mark’s client list includes Nike, Adidas, The International Paralympic Committee, Sapporo Beer, Nissan, Stella Artois and Pepsi.
