Daniel "Jun Ho" Lee is a film very close to home. The 1-minute film makes a commentary about the significance of our birth given names, and those who've had to change it after having immigrated to the west. The film was created for a local competition called MAMM17 and won Best Overall Film as well as Best Director.
Kevin Jin Kwan Kim is a Korean-Canadian director and editor based out of Vancouver, BC, Canada. With a background in editing, his work sustains a distinct sense of rhythm while capturing emotions by finding the most powerful connections between shots. He values the length of every take and is keen on utilizing time to its best degree. He also cherishes collaboration in his work and aspires to raise the voices of other BIPOC artists.
