ICONOCLAST

Director and photographer Jonas Lindstroem has accomplished a wide range of work, working for clients such as Hermes, Calvin Klein, Kenzo, Nike, Sephora , Rimowa, Marc O’Polo and Adidas. Of German and Swedish descent, he studied at the Berlin University of the Arts and the London College of Communications. Originally known for his fashion photography and the bold textures and lighting in his work, he revisited his trademark by shooting the spring/summer campaign for Beyoncé's Ivy Park brand, which featured young athletes practicing their craft in a visually intimate film. Most recently, he directed an advertisement for Moncler but also for Giorgio Armani « My Way » in which we discover Sydney Sweeney as the new ambassador of the brand. He also worked for the music industry as he directed a new music video for Baby Keem. His powerful "Element" video for Kendrick Lamar, which pays homage to the iconic photos of photojournalist Gordon Parks, won gold for Best Video at the 2018 Clio Awards and inspired an art exhibition around his imagery and influences. In 2019, he directed the #MyTruth global campaign for Calvin Klein, celebrating the brand's authenticity. The series features the most influential voices of the moment, including Shawn Mendes, Billie Eilish, A$AP Rocky and Bella Hadid, among others, speaking candidly about what it means to embrace your truth and challenge the status quo. In 2020, He directed the Sephora film "The Unlimited Power of beauty," featuring the life of a little girl to her maturity, expressing her emotions about her reflection over 50 years. Backed by Kelsey Lu's I'm Not In Love, the film blends emotional power and authenticity through a universal and intimate vision of beauty that everyone can relate to. He also continued his collaboration with Hermes for their new beauty campaigns 'Plein Air' and ‘Terre d’Hermès eau givrée'.
