Radke

Set in the deserts of 1935, a pilot finds himself in a place that is ready to destroy all ambitious men. Written and directed by Andrew De Zen, “Oasis” poetically moves back and forth between live-action and animation throughout the story. Based on the real events and experiences of Antoine De Saint-Exupéry, author of "The Little Prince".

Andrew has been drawn to film since he was a child and has since become a filmmaker with a focus on emotional storytelling and evocative, poetic visuals. His love for film and stories also reaches into photography and animation, bringing a fresh editorial eye to his approach. He has gone on to work on several global brands such as Under Armour, SiriusXM, ESPN, Sony, Cadillac, Nike, IBM, etc. Andrew created, directed and produced a series of connected short films called "Of Walls & Mountains" which was shortlisted at the Young Director Awards at Cannes in 2018. His film "Places" for Alaskan Tapes was also shortlisted at Cannes and nominated for Best Video of The Year at the Juno Awards in 2019.
