This work aims to encourage Australians to slow down and protect the slow way of life that’s at the heart of what makes travelling the country in a caravan so special. This is Dani’s second piece of commercial work ever directed.

Dani Pearce is a Writer and Director based in Sydney, Australia. With a primary focus on experimental narrative, her work sits at the intersection of film, photography and art. ​ Dani has spent much of her career as a creative assistant - writing, designing and developing for some of the worlds most renowned brands, agencies and film directors. Her work in this space included everything from global campaigns for Apple, Facebook, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Google, Louis Vuitton, Nike - all the way through to consultation on critically acclaimed series now streaming on Netflix, Hulu, FX USA and beyond. She works from her Surry Hills studio on select, high-end branded projects and visually consults in the long form space. Dani’s filmography includes Nursed Back and Backpedal. This work has been recognised by Sundance Film Festival, Cannes Lions, Cannes Young Director’s Awards, the Saatchi&Saatchi New Director’s Showcase, the London 1.4 ‘On the Cusp of Greatness’ List for 2018 & 2019, AVIFF Cannes Film Festival, the IMDb Independent Short Awards, Raindance Film Festival, BAFTA Aesthetica, Tribeca Video Art & Experimental Film Festival, Brisbane International Film Festival, Montreal Festival du Nouveau Cinema, Vimeo Staff Picks and more. Dani is the recipient of LIA New Director 2019 and winner of Gold at Ciclope 2019 for New Talent in Direction. Further, Dani is the only Australian director invited to the 2020 Sundance Film Festival Official Short Film Competition.
